The Bixlers in England
In Summer 2022, Matthew and Amanda Bixler, along with their four children, began full-time ministry in rural England in partnership with Peak Trinity Church in Bakewell. During that time, Matthew completed a rural ministry residency focused on gospel outreach, cultural engagement, and seminary training. As a family, the Bixlers learned about life and ministry in the UK—laying a solid foundation for, Lord willing, many years of effective gospel work.
In August 2025, the Bixlers moved to Exeter to continue long-term ministry through ABWE, working alongside local believers to plant Emmanuel Baptist Church and support gospel efforts throughout the remote county of Devon. Their work centers on relational evangelism, discipleship, and engaging their community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
The Bixlers are currently building their monthly support team, trusting God to provide $3,500 in new ongoing support to sustain their ministry.
