We are sending the Bixlers to England!
Following many years of discerning a calling and strong desire to help plant churches and make Christ known overseas, Matthew and Amanda Bixler are overjoyed to share that they are pursuing a ministry opportunity in rural England. In partnership with Peak Trinity Church in Bakewell, England, our goal is to support, equip, and send the Bixler family to participate in full-time, residential ministry work in and among the villages of England’s peak district.
What will the Bixlers be doing In England?
The Bixlers will be transitioning to become members of Peak Trinity Church in Bakewell, England. Matthew will begin a rural ministry residency, focused on gaining cultural competence and understanding, serving within the church, participating in local outreach and evangelism, as well as training and development through a partner seminary. Long term, the goal is to equip the Bixlers to lead and serve effectively in a local church context and to help plant more churches.
By God’s grace, we hope to help assess and support the Bixlers for a transition in Summer 2022.
How can we support the Bixlers?
As a church family, we are committed to ongoing spiritual and financial support for the Bixlers until God calls us otherwise. You can start by requesting more information or by contacting Matthew Bixler directly at matthew@gracewaco.com.
