FEASTING ON THE GOSPEL
The Sunday morning worship gathering is one of the most important rhythms in the Christian life. When we gather together to worship Jesus, we acknowledge the truth that we often forget: God is worthy of worship, he has revealed himself to us, and in his revelation we find a gospel of hope.
The purpose of our gathering is to rejoice in the fact that Jesus has saved us by his life and work. This good news is the gospel message which makes up the content of our “feast” together every week! In order to feast well we follow a planned out liturgy of singing, confession, scripture reading, and prayer. We preach to show Christ from the Biblical text by drawing out meaning and application from the verses themselves, acknowledging that all of Scripture points to Jesus. Finally, every week we celebrate and remember the life and work of Christ by taking part in communion together.
Family Equipping | 9AM
GROWING IN GRACE
In the churches mission of making disciples (followers) of Jesus, we understand that part of growing to know and love Jesus more requires spiritual and theological equipping. We have to know the content of the gospel in order to believe it and apply it appropriately. Our equipping ministry is meant to teach Biblical doctrine for all stages of life that is applicable and robust.
GRACE KIDS
Grace Kids meets at 9am and equips kids from birth to 6th grade to know and follow Jesus by utilizing age appropriate curriculum that shows Jesus in all of Scripture. During our 10am worship service, we offer childcare for children 4 and under.
ADULT EQUIPPING
Our Adult Equipping takes place in a seminar format every Sunday, with multiple classes offered. We rotate through practical and theological course material designed to help our people experience Jesus more intimately through Biblical truth. You can sign up for a class with the link below, or simply show up ready to learn.
WHERE WE MEET
We meet in the heart of Waco at 4610 Bosque Blvd, right across from the Extraco Events center. Our building used to be a bowling alley before it was remodeled in 2016 to serve as the home of Grace Church.
