FAMILY EQUIPPING | 9AM
Every Sunday at 9am we offer equipping classes for all kids up to sixth grade. We seek to make Jesus known to our children by teaching that the Bible is the one true story all about Jesus Christ, providing a systematic interaction with sound doctrine, and promoting a solid framework for a missional worldview.
NURSERY and preschool (0 - 4 YEARS)
The nursery and preschool (ages 0-4) is a safe and engaging environment for children where they will learn short and simple facts about God, His Word, and creation, taken from the New City Catechism and Jesus Storybook Bible. Ages 3 and 4 will begin using The Gospel Project Curriculum to better familiarize with Biblical Theological themes.
KIDS (Kindergarten - 6TH GRADE)
Our classes for Kindergarten through 4th grade will learn the same Bible story at an age appropriate level using the Gospel Project curriculum. As our children grow, they are familiarized with God’s big plan of salvation and progress to a more detailed look at the connection of each Bible story to the gospel and God’s larger plan of redemption through the finished work of Christ. They will learn to see that all Scripture, all that God has done, and all He is doing directly points to Jesus.
In 4th-6th grade, our kids are taught Biblical themes and foundational doctrinal concepts using the New City Catechism, which is completed in total every year.

What about corporate worship?
We believe that the participation of all children in corporate worship is a significant part of their discipleship. For this reason, we offer our kids curriculum at 9am only and encourage all kids five years and older to worship with their families at the 10am service. Preschool programming for kids under 5 is available during the 10am corporate worship.

At Grace Church, we believe that the most effective way to show Jesus to a child is to model the effects of the gospel in day to day life. This means the goal of Grace Kids ministry is to equip our parents to foster a culture of discipleship. We eagerly encourage parents to teach and volunteer on Sunday mornings during our Equipping Hour, so they can practice what family equipping looks like at home.
